We Bought a Storage Locker That Hadn't Been Opened Since 2002. Here's What Was Inside.
Share
When someone offers you a storage locker that hasn't been cracked open since 2002, your brain goes two places: buried treasure or absolute horror show. There's no in-between. We rolled the dice anyway.
No regrets.
What came out wasn't junk — it was a time capsule. Shelves of toys and collectibles that have been sitting in the dark for over two decades, most of it in shockingly good shape. Here's a taste of what's hitting the shop:
Polly Pocket Dance Studio ($199) — Peak 2002. Tiny, sparkly, and complete enough to make a grown collector emotional. These don't surface in this condition anymore.
Minnie Mouse Surprise Party ($299) — A whole party in a box, frozen in time. The kind of set grandparents paid full price for and kids played with exactly once.
WWF TitanTron Wrestling Ring ($225) — Attitude Era energy, straight out of the box. If you know, you know.
Majorette Super Garage #792 ($84.99) — This one's wild. Three levels, 8 feet of track, car lift, car wash — and the parts were never even assembled. Still in the sealed bags. The box is rough, the toy is brand new.
30 Vintage Baseball Cards ($39.99) — Junk-wax era, but with actual Hall of Famers in the stack: Walker, McGriff, Carlton, Fisk, Sutter. A $40 lottery ticket with real names.
Here's the thing nobody tells you about this business: most days are just grinding — listing, pricing, shipping, repeat. But every once in a while you get to take a swing on something stupid and it pays off. In life you have to try things. Step out of your comfort zone. Sometimes it's rewarding, sometimes it isn't, but you never know unless you try.
More to come — we're dropping new locker finds every single day. If you're a collector, follow us so you don't miss the next one. And if you've got a collection you're looking to move, give us a holler.
BudMila's is always hunting — collectibles, toys, and everything in between. New drops daily.
